The subject who is truly loyal to the Chief Magistrate will neither advise nor submit to arbitrary measures. Erin Wotherspoon, a blogger who’s gone viral for admitting she dates for dinners, at The Rude Boy restaurant in Toronto. This article was published more than 6 years ago. Some information in it may no longer be current. Hey, you’re not that guy on the Internet who wants to dismember my body and toss it in the ocean, right? It’s how Erin Wotherspoon prefaces her dinner dates these days. I have to put up with a lot of bad conversation,” Wotherspoon wrote on the blog last month. Other downsides to the serial dating scheme include tedious text messages from suitors Wotherspoon has trouble keeping straight and “feigning interest in things I don’t care about. Late last month, her blog was outed by Reddit: “Guys who are dating in Toronto, look out for this con-artist,” was the cautionary title of one of two threads that have so far netted nearly piqued comments about the young woman. Wotherspoon has since received death threats and drawn comparisons to professional chauvinist Tucker Max; “dinner witch” has been one of the gentler terms lobbed her way since she began blogging in August.

Recently my wife and I had dinner at Hy’s. We live near by and have only had drinks at the bar. The restaurant is great, the atmosphere amazing and the decor is exactly what I like about classic steak houses – dark wood, low lighting and quiet atmosphere even thought the restaurant is near full. Service is amazing. Originally we wanted to have the Chateaubriand for 2 however our waiter suggested the prime rib dinner with Yorkshire pudding and sweet potato mash.

Dinner was amazing and so flavourful. Our appetizers were good as well. My wife had oysters and I had beef steak tomatoes with Stilton cheese. The only issue I had with my appetizer was that the tomatoes where not really sliced as I have had at other steak houses instead the tomato was merely sliced in half. Other than that, the appetizer was still very good.

We had an excellent bottle of wine from BC Okanagan valley as well has after dinner liquers. Overall, this was a great dinner and night with my wife. We will definitely go back. Stay for the prime service, dessert and live music on select evenings.
